What an awsome fucking night!!! What more can we say? 6:AM performed their first show since Oct.22,2006 to almost 200 people at the killer little place in Pacifica, called the Octopus Lounge. The show opened with our buddies HandsOfTime, which many of you know included former 6:AM drummer Alex "food" Daniel. "H.O.T." performed a great set, but with some sadness as this was their last performance with bassist Toad. 2nd on the bill were the progressive sounds of FUTURE TRIPP. Using violin/fiddle, keys, and some great melodys...they always put on an entertaining show. At nearly midnight, those familar words rang through the club as the emcee (Eric Downey) shouted out... "DOES EVERYONE KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?" and the response was a thunderous "6:AM!" The band powered through some crowd favorites like BLOOD BROTHERS, SIDE KICK, & WANNA and had a chance to feature three new tunes UNCLEAN, PRISONER, & SLOW D(still a working title). Finally one o'clock seemed to be approaching, when 6:AM performed their signature hit PREMONITION to close the show. Drained and sweaty the band then got a chance to talk to some old friends and shake hands with a lot of new fans. To close the evening BANDS4BANDS hosted an open-mic/jam session, which included MysticRage.
