Ah yes, The Englander! Bands4bands! Toys! and 6:AM!
What a night it was! The evening began with the sounds of guitar by former 6:AM guitarist Ruben Singh, followed by our friends Hands Of Time, and the acoustic hour was wrapped up by the always lovely and talented Tara Tinsley. Metal Hour kicked into full gear with THREAD and then introduced John Martin of Mystic Rage and his first time on lead vocals...truley a new sound for them and a good sound at that. Next up was Sol-Inocence, as they celebrated their lead singers birthday and there was cake for all! Then a hush fell over the crowd, as those all too familar words rang out..."DOES EVERYONE KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?"...we learned there were some new faces in the crowd when heard..."about 1030?" But no matter... 6:AM still loves you. Hell we love everyone of you that came out and gave some needy childern a better Christmas. The boyz all agreed that the show was way better then expected since the band as a whole had not rehearsed in almost two months. First off a big WELCOME to Denny Eastwood as he made his first live appearance with 6:AM. And to JD for sounding better then ever, even while coming back from his African flu. Kedar made his presence known as his guitar shredded through his solos and Dan opened up the eyes of the crowd with his riffs and solos. Johnny enjoyed his first full on electric show, since the birth of his daughter...as a matter of fact Johnny enjoyed being back so much that his amp shut down right at the end of Prisoner, When it came back the band performed 2004'S BEST SONG NOMINEE ~ PREMONITION! But the crowd wasn't done and demanded two encores!
But the real stars of the evening...everyone who came out and filled over two bins of toys and donated over $200!
All of us from 6:AM and the BANDS4BANDS Family want to say
THANK YOU! |
